Peacham Elementary
School Counseling

Peacham Elementary has created a school counseling program based on developmental concepts and theories that encourage the uniqueness of each individual. The school counselor will work with students, staff and the community to enhance academic achievement and student potential by providing a comprehensive program that addresses the academic, career, and personal/social development needs of all students.

Welcome image
Welcome to the Peacham Elementary School Guidance website.
As your School Counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, personal, and social development of all students. I will be in the building Mondays and Wednesdays. I will be conducting small groups during lunch, creating and implementing classroom guidance lessons as needed, meeting with parents, collaborating with teachers and staff, and consulting with community organizations to benefit and meet the needs of all Peacham students and families. I look forward to offering support to the students, staff, families and community.

Any student can request to meet with me or they can be referred by a teacher, administrator, or parent. I firmly believe communication is key and I encourage you to reach out if you have concerns regarding your child. If you would like for me to meet with your child or if you would like to set up a meeting with me, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Ms. Watrobski

Tips for supporting Children during the COVID-19

"Most young kids will remember how their family home felt during the coronavirus panic more than anything specific about the virus. Our kids are watching us and learning how to respond to stress and uncertainty. Let's wire our kids for resilience, not panic."

Dear Parents and Guardians,

My name is Adrianna Watrobski and I am Peacham Elementary's school counselor. Born and raised in New York, I found my way to Vermont to complete my Bachelors in Psychology at Norwich University. I completed a Master's degree in School Counseling and Guidance Services at NYU Steinhardt. Prior to my work with Peacham and Danville, I worked locally in the mental health field for several years where my role included supporting students at home, in the community as well as in the school setting. I am excited to be a part of the Peacham Elementary School and Community and to return for my fifth year with Peacham.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the year.
Here's to an incredible 2021-2022 school year.

Sincerely,

Ms. Watrobski
